"We would like to thank your
manager, Autumn and her staff, Luz and others, for the professional, respectful and caring way they handled our Pastor's
50th Anniversary Banquet. Our committee was impressed by the way we were treated and accomodated. Your manager
and the staff, as well as the tasty food prepared by your chef and staff, will not be forgotten. Whenever we have another
event, we will surely return here. We will recommend your facility to others as an elegant place to host an event"
- Barry and Linda, Growing Valley Baptist Church

The John P. Eliopulos Hellenic Center is a 30 year dream come true. In the late 1970s the local congregation
started planning and by 1983 built Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, but was unable to continue the construction of the social hall. After years of raising money and saving all they could,
the congregation was still short of cash. In 2004, Mr. Andrew Eliopulos, the owner of JP Eliopulos Enterprises, and
a congregation member, made a bold and gracious move to offer the Church a house he built. The house would be raffled
to the public to raise the seed money and jump start the social hall construction. In 2005, led by the Church president
Mr. Bill Koukourikos and then vice president Mr. Peter Bouras, the AV House Lottery was launched, raffling off the house,
a new BMW 325i, a vacation to Greece and a plasma TV. During the raffle, we promised the AV community that their money
would not go to an exclusive use facility, but rather a facility that would be open for anyone to use, a true community hall.
In Feb 2006, we started operations of the John P. Eliopulos Hellenic Center and immediately opened the doors to the Antelope
Valley. The Center has become a favorite of brides for its beauty and for civic groups for its warmth and sense of community,
as well as other organizations looking for a top rate place to host an event. Call us and come see why the John P. Eliopulos
Hellenic Center was not just a 30 year dream, but is a dream of a facility to host your important event.

Mr. John P. Eliopulos
Mr. John P. Eliopulos was a member of one of the original families that decided to make the Antelope Valley their home
in the early 1900s. He was a local land developer and real estate broker and founder of JP Eliopulos Enterprises.
In the late 1970s, when the local Greek Orthodox congregation was becoming large enough to seek land and build a Church, Mr.
Eliopulos sold the congregation three acres on the corner of 30th Street West and Ave. K-4, at that time, just an area of
arid land with no development. His leadership and guidance facilitated the building of the Church by 1983, which still
stands today. However, his dream of building the social hall was not realized when he passed away in 1998. His
son Andrew continued the legacy and provided the road ahead for the construction of the hall. The hall is named after
the late Mr. John P. Eliopulos to honor him for the establishment of our community and providing the bedrock for which we
continue to build upon. Thank you John, we know you would be proud of this accomplishment.
